Biography
Early life
Robin Quivers was born on August 8, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland to Charles and Lula Quivers. She has an older brother, Charles Quivers Jr.
Charles Quivers was a veteran of the Second World War and a steelworker at Bethlehem Steel.
Robin's mother, Lula Harvey, was born in Tabbs, Virginia sometime in the late 1920s or early 1930s. Lula was one of seven children. Due to troubled family financed, Lula had to drop out of school while in the seventh grade and found work as a field laborer. When she was sixteen, she began cleaning houses for a living.
Robin's parents' marriage was not a happy one. Charles had married another woman shortly before he was drafted; after his return from the War, they divorced and he married Lula. Many of his peers felt that they were a mismatched couple: Charles had fair skin and green eyes, while Lula was very dark.
Robin's older brother, Charles Jr., was born in 1948. A cousin, Shirley Walker, came to live with the family sometime in 1954.
When Robin was eleven years old, her father began molesting her.
Nursing career
Quivers studied Nursing at the University of Maryland, graduating in 1974.
From 1975 to 1978, she served in the United States Air Force as a nurse, rising to the rank of Captain.
